About Amy
Amy Whitcomb Price, CPA, MST, is a Tax Principal in ASL’s Real Estate Group, assisting her clients with their individual and business taxation needs, including compliance, planning, and consulting services. She has over 18 years of public accounting experience. Amy has extensive experience working with partnership entities in the following industries: real estate, private equity, and venture capital. In addition, she has experience dealing with complex partnership issues which include structuring, acquisition and sale transactions, special allocations, ownership changes, and basis computations.
Amy is involved in strategic planning and consulting on business and personal tax planning for her clients. She develops both practical and tax-saving strategies for owners of partnerships, limited liability companies, and S-Corporations. Amy works with numerous closely held businesses to assist them with achieving business and family goals.
Through the years, Amy has worked for two Big 4 accounting firms, as well as national and regional accounting firms, which finally lead her to ASL. Amy lives in San Diego with her fellow CPA husband and young daughter.
Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, with an emphasis in accounting, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She also received her Master’s in Taxation Degree from Golden Gate University.
