About Greg
Greg Gockel, CPA, is a Tax Manager in ASL’s Real Estate Group. He has over ten years of experience in public accounting specializing in partnership and high-net-worth individual taxation. He also has extensive experience with providing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for individuals with business entities that include partnerships, S-corporations, and trusts in their operating structures.
Prior to joining ASL, Greg spent six years at a local CPA firm in the San Diego area and then made his way to a Big Four public accounting firm in their Private Client group, where he also specialized in partnership and high-net-worth individual areas of taxation.
Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University San Marcos.
In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, where they often camp in the desert, Colorado River, and at the beach. He also enjoys working on home improvement projects.
