Partner Retirement Announcement for Carol Wagner, CPA
We would like to formally announce the retirement of Carol Wagner, CPA, Principal, Assurance & Advisory.
Carol has over 30 years of audit and accounting experience and led the Firm as Managing Principal from 2020 – 2023. She progressed ASL into a hybrid work-friendly firm, made significant improvements to ASL’s software and technology processes; and provided employees with meaningful work and career development opportunities. In the ASL Assurance Group, Carol functioned as an engagement partner and a technical review partner. She served privately held clients in various industries including software, manufacturing, and construction companies with domestic and international operations. Recently, Carol was recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Top 200 CPAs for 2024.
In addition, Carol has been very involved in the Bay Area community, formerly serving as a board member for First Community Housing and the Family Giving Tree, in addition to volunteering with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and the Silicon Valley Humane Society. She also served as the Board President of CalCPA’s Silicon Valley Chapter in 2013.
As a result of Carol’s leadership, ASL was recognized as a top 10 Best Place to Work in the Bay Area, a Best CPA Firm for Women, and a Best CPA Firm for Equity Leadership.
